Terms of Service — CreatorSleuth
Last updated: July 25, 2026
1. The service
CreatorSleuth is currently a read-only beta service: it scans the public comments of your YouTube videos to detect scam attempts and shows you the proof in a dashboard. No moderation action, comment deletion, or publishing is ever performed on your channel.
2. Who can use the service
You must sign in with the Google account that owns the YouTube channel you want to scan. You can only scan videos belonging to your own channel — an ownership check is performed server-side before every scan.
3. Availability and warranties
The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability during the beta phase. Scam detection relies on automated rules and an AI model: it may produce false positives or miss some scam attempts (false negatives). It does not replace your own judgment.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the service only to analyze your own YouTube channel, and not to attempt to bypass access controls or disrupt the service's operation.
5. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time by revoking access from myaccount.google.com/permissions and requesting deletion of your data at contact@creatorsleuth.com.
6. Contact
For any question about these terms or the service: contact@creatorsleuth.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
